London WRG were supposed to be on the Droitwich Canal all this weekend but circumstances dictated that we join KESCRG, spend Saturday working on the Droitwich as an "Away Day" and spend Sunday on the Lichfield and Hatherton. As I only joined the dig on the Saturday evening all my photo's are of the work at Tamwoth Road (lock 26) on the Sunday.

A view of the lock

Phil Cardy (I think) lays brickwork shuttering adjacent to the newconcrete quoin stone ...

... whilst Martin continues the main chamber wall ...

... and Ian works on a wing wall.

A cocky Dave Miller lays bricks with eyes closed !!

Eddie backfills watched by his team of admirers

Clive operates the ancient but servicable JCB to excavate spoil ...

.. for backfill to the offside chamber wall.

Competition - which rear end produces the most noxious gases ?
